The Neelys Make Concord Home

12.30.16 | Faith, Love, Family

The Neely family had plans to tour the area churches in search of a new church home. But, on a visit to the Concord Church, young Taylor Neely made the first move during youth church when she decided on her own to make Concord her new church home. The friendliness in everyone we encountered here was unusual [to us] and made all the difference in the world.

After orientation, we jumped right into ministries and small groups where we made so many new friends. The children chose their own ministries, such as singing with the “Voices of Love” choir. Our son, Joshua, was so proud to be part of the children’s ministry and our youngest, Micah, amazed us when she received a “Fruit of the Spirit” award for kindness.

    From the Family:
Michelle Neely (mom): It is the relationships that are important. The volunteers are so engaged with our children, and connected with us as parents, even outside of the church.

Adrian Neely (dad): Resources to make church fun for kids is an important investment, but it usually goes unnoticed until its missing.

Micah (youngest daughter): We’re never moving to another church!
